National Species Action Plan for Greece (NSAP)

Within the framework of the project LIFE+ «The Return of the Neophron», the National Species Action Plan (NSAP) for the Egyptian Vulture in Greece was prepared by Hellenic Ornithological Society, aiming to maintain and restore the population levels of the species in Greece in its breeding sites to a "favourable conservation status". The NSAP will, hopefully, provide a framework for the conservation of the species at national, regional and local level, based on effective co-ordination of organisations and actions.

NB: Please note this is a draft version, pending for the final approval from the Ministry of Environment.
